Bat For Lashes 'I'm On Fire'

Here is a fantastic cover of a Bruce Springsteen track by Bat For Lashes. I've not heard anything else by BFL; or rather I cannot remember hearing anything by BFL. This track, 'I'm On Fire' stopped me in my tracks though when I first heard it.

It's great.

Is anyone reading this ?

Yes, Toby, I am reading this. I enjoy finding out about your 'other' life. I know I should check out some of your music, but I've been 'stung' by a few of your recommendations before - film, as well as music! And, what's all this about Arcade Fire?. I told you I 'd heard them months ago being played at Gatwick airport! There, maybe we are musically 'in tune', though my music is played on an 'old fiddle'!

Saw BFL at Latitude and really enjoyed her set - haven't listened to the album but should probably do so. Another band that I enjoyed were Midlake. Have you heard "The Trials of Van Occupanther". Really high quality 70s inspired folk rock. By no means eveyone's cup of tea but I love it.

Yep. That Midlake album is really good. In fact it's probably the best record from last year. Have you heard the Beyond The Wizard Sleeve remix of 'Roscoe' ? It's really good. I could put in on here for download. But loads of blogs are offering it.
